Core Staff

Mary (she/her) originally planned on moving to the Tahoe-Truckee area for one ski season after graduating with a BA from UC Berkeley. That one winter turned into 34 years of playing in the woods and raising a family here, while gaining a deep passion for the environment and the importance of protecting it. She gives back to the community as an active member of local organizations, serving as an events promoter, a regional commissioner for a local nonprofit sports group, an event photographer, and a club and high-school soccer coach. In addition, Mary helps her husband run his 35-year old bicycle shop, a fixture in the local community.

Mary earned her MBA at the University of Nevada, Reno, and has worked in a variety of professional fields and capacities. She has extensive experience as an accounting and business manager, with additional skills in sales, due diligence, marketing, database management, and contracting. For CSP, she focuses on budgeting, contracts, financials, HR, and project management, but also works “behind the scenes” to keep our group of creative scientists firing on all cylinders.
